The days may be long, but I’m still here And I’m determined to make it through

Life has its share of long days that sap your energy and enthusiasm. Some are risky, and by the end of the day, you feel like you barely made it.

On the worst of days, we need a little bit of solace and the strength to keep going so that we may try again tomorrow and believe in ourselves the next day.

Today, I was reminded of how hard days can be, so I wrote a short poem to show how I felt.

The days are long

The days are long, and they seem to last forever
The hours seem to slip away
I wish I could make them go faster,
But there’s nothing much I can say.

I try to make the best of it
And take some time for me
But the days are just so long
And it feels like an eternity

It’s hard to stay motivated
When the days just drag on
But I try to find something to look forward to
And that helps me to stay strong

The days may be long, but I’m still here
And I’m determined to make it through
I’ll keep pushing forward, and I won’t give up
And one day, I’ll make it through.
